2015, at at the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Services are pending with Legacy Funeral Home.
Mr. Barrett was the manager of the Crystal Café.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mary Diers; one
son, Michael Barrett Jr.; his mother, Mary Alice Barrett; one brother James; and two sisters, Kathleen Geraci and Mary Alice Barrett.

Michael Barrett, age 62, passed away Thursday, April 9th at Veteran’s Memorial Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.
Michael was born on February 21, 1953 in Camden, NJ to James Barrett and Mary Yearicks. Michael was very proud to have served his country in the United States Army.
Friends and family describe Michael as enjoying his life with
many interests. His creative side delighted in the art of drawing and music. As a traveler he delighted in any venture to the city of Las Vegas. His local interests include the Grand Junction Rockies Baseball and the companionship of this Chihuahuas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Hoover) Barrett; daughter,
Mary Diers (Chad); son, Michael Barrett Jr.; mother, Mary
Alice Barrett; siblings, James Barrett (Donna); Kathleen Geraci (Sal); Mary Alice Barrett, and nieces, Patty Huderson (John), and Lisa Geraci. He is preceded in death by his father, James Barrett, and brother-in-law and dear friend, Gregory P. Hoover.
