Jane F. Bakalar, 82, Whitewater, died April 13, 2015, at her
home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Martin Mortuary Chapel.
A second visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at at Landmark
Baptist Church, with services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mrs. Bakalar was an opera singer.
She is survived by her husband, John Douglas Sr.; two sons, John Douglas Jr. of Lakewood, California, and Paul Dennis of Los Alamitos, California; three daughters, Barbara Jane Reynolds of Orange, California, Jeri May Nickerson of Whitewater, and Josephine Nellie Littlejohn of Bakersfield, California; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
