Longtime Bond resident Louis E. LAMAN died Thursday, Nov. 3. He was 66.
Funeral Services were Sunday at the McCoy School. He was buried at the Yampa Cemetery.
LAMAN was born on Aug. 26, 1922 in Copper Spur to Emil and Pearl LAMAN. He attended school in the McCoy area until joining the Army during World War II. He was discharged in 1946 as a corporal.
Besides working on local ranches and sawmills, LAMAN worked for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad until 1986, when he retired after 29 years.
He was a member of the American Legion and a supporter of 4-H and enjoyed hunting, fishing and rodeos.
LAMAN is survived by a sister, Beulah MILES of Modesto, Calif.; two brothers, Robert LAMAN of Erie and Marvin LAMAN of Bond; and numerous nephews and nieces.
