James Anthony Crumly, 46, Grand Junction, died June 27,
2015, at HopeWest Care Center.
A rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Monday at Martin Mortuary
Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Mr. Crumly was a college graduate and poet.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline Crumly of Grand Junction; and one sister, Genevieve Crumly of Grand Junction.

Our precious James A. Crumly lost his battle with Huntington’s disease on June 27th, 2015 at 46 years of age. James was born on March 26th, 1969 in Grand Junction, CO to Lonnie and Pauline Crumly. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew and friend. He gave his heart unconditionally to everyone he met.
James was a graduate of Central High School and Mesa State College with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management. He was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital until he was no longer able to work because of his Huntington’s.
James was an avid baseball fan attending Mesa State, JUCO,
Colorado Rockies and Grand Junction Rockies games as often as possible with his sister, Genevieve, until they were no longer able to go. Growing up, he loved hunting and fishing with his dad. James enjoyed square dancing and crocheting. He was also an accomplished poet in the process of having a book of his poetry published.
James is survived by his mother, Pauline Crumly; sister,
Genevieve Crumly; aunts, Estella (Mel) Kaufholtz, Maryann
(Ben) Romero, and Rebecca Montano; uncles, Michael
Montano, David (Lisa) Montano, and Steven Montano as well
as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father,
Lonnie Crumly, who also passed away from Huntington’s
disease; grandparents, Pedro and Genoveva Montano and James and Bertha Crumly.
Rosary will be at Martin Mortuary on Monday, July 6th, 2015,
at 4:00 p.m. and the funeral will be at Immaculate Heart of
Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 7th, 2015, at 2:00 p.m.
James blessed his family, friends and acquaintances with his
good humor, distinctive laugh and a sparkle he always had in his eyes.
James - you will always be in our hearts and forever our Sweet Angel.
