Dean Irl Pense, "Deano or
Flash", of Myrtle Point, OR
passed away June 4, 2015, in
Coquille, OR. He was 74
years old.
Dean was born January 31,
1941, in Rapid City, S.D. to
Ralph and Irene Pense. After
high school, he enrolled in the
U.S. Army and served in
Germany, France and Spain.
When he came home, he worked as a used car salesman, truck
driver, aerospace inspector and after retiring from Sundstrand,
delivered furniture for Schroeder’s in Myrtle Point. He enjoyed
fishing, boating, reading, watching sports, especially the Denver
Broncos and LA Clippers, having "tea time" with his buddy
Dave, and spending time with his wife and family.
He is survived by wife of 24 years, Debbie; sisters, Lynda
(Richard) Van Aucken and Loretta (Ken) Colombo; sons, Allen
(Lea) Ferrians, Michael (Lisa) Pense, Rick Pense, Stephen
(Helen) Pense, David (Ali) Malone and Josh (Mia) Benally;
daughters, Kary (Vincent) Gomez, Jenny (Gary) Stephens,
Shena (Matt) Holliday, and Crystal (James) Tucker; 21
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces
and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father,
Carl.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
