Edward “Ed” Gray, 71, Grand Junction, died July 9, 2015, at
HopeWest Care Center.
Services are pending with Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service.
Mr. Gray was a surveyor for the state road and bridge department.
He is survived by one son, Chris of Fruita; one daughter, Jennifer Gray of Conroe, Texas; three sisters, Linda Holland of Windsor, Shirley Harris of Johnston, Iowa, and Judy Nielsen of Longmont; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Edward "Ed" Gray
October 28, 1943 - July 9, 2015
Edward L. Gray, age 71, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away July 9, 2015, at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction.
Born October 28, 1943, in Littleton, CO, he was the son of the late Walter A. and Minnie Notario Gray.
Ed graduated from Englewood Senior High School in Englewood, CO and went on to earn his Bachelor’s
Degree from Northeastern Junior College and Colorado School of Mines in Denver, CO. He had been employed as a Machinist for Sunstrand Aviation, and as a Surveyor for the State of Colorado.
He had a strong work ethic and worked hard to provide for his
family. He valued his Catholic faith and emphasized family
values.
When Ed’s work took him to Grand Junction, he bought a
seven acre farm in East Orchard Mesa, and together with his
family raised crops and had a menagerie of animals. The family had horses, cows, pigs, chickens and ducks. Ed loved helping his kids with their 4H projects.
Ed loved fishing, hunting and the great outdoors.
He is survived by son, Chris Gray of Fruita, CO; daughter,
Jennifer Gray of Conroe, TX; three sisters, Linda Holland of
Windsor, CO; Shirley Harris of Johnston, IA, and Judy Nielsen
of Longmont, CO; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

choice.
A graveside service will be held in Littleton, CO.
