Barbara Jean Thompson
Waterman passed away May
29, 2015.
She was born December 19,
1940, in Delta, Colorado, to
George Thatcher Thompson
and Eunice Easter Magdalene
Eades. After graduating from
Delta High in 1958, she
became a stewardess for
Western Airlines. While at
Western, she met her future husband, Frederick "Fritz"
Waterman. They wed in Helena, Montana, then moved to
Evergreen Colorado in 1966, and to Grand Junction in 1974.
She had two sons, Daniel and Nathaniel. A wonderful mother
she instilled morals and stressed the importance of kindness,
humility, forgiveness, and family. She was an avid cook,
seamstress, and craftsman, and took pride in her creations.
Barbara enjoyed fishing and spending time on the Grand Mesa.
She was a loving lady with a sense of humor who will be dearly
missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is
survived by her brother, Dan Thompson, and her children and
grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Mesa View Cemetery in
Delta, CO, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

Junction, CO 81506.
