FRED A. RULE
Mr. Fred RULE of Brighton, Colo. passed away April 8, 1980 at the Brighton Community Hospital following an illness of several months.
He was born June 22, 1902 in Gypsum, son of Frank and Rena Randall RULE.
On March 12, 1924, Mr. RULE married Mary E.QUINLAN in Glenwood Springs.
In 1971, Mr. RULE moved from Eagle to Brighton. He was a member of the Eagle Pioneer Association and a rancher 50 years. He was also a member of the Castle Lodge #122, A.F. & A.M., Independent Order of Oddfellows Crown Lodge #146, Order of the Eastern Star #86, Crater Rebekah Lodge #105, and a board member of the Holy Cross Electric Association for 31 years. He served on the ASCS committee, the County Fair Board, and the Colorado Cattlemen's Assoc.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, of Brighton, two sons, Dan B. RULE of Eagle and Larry L. RULE of Mesa, Ariz. and Joe RULE of Eagle; one sister, Frances LONG of Eagle, five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, April 12, 1980 at the Community Methodist Church in Eagle, Rev. Steve GOODIER officiated.
Rice Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
