Dee J. Butters

Dee J. Butters, age 96, of Grand Junction, Colorado passed
away October 7, 2015, in Littleton, Colorado.
Dee was born April 30, 1919, in Brigham City, UT. He worked
on the Rio Grande Railroad his entire life and was well respected on the railroad as well as within the Masonic Lodge. Dee was a good man, and was a wonderful example for the whole family as a great husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa.
Dee is survived by his children, Thomas W. (Susan) Butters,
Lenny D. Gough (Dave) and Steve L. Butters; grandchildren,
Tara (Larry) Zollinger, Kristy (Eddie) Christensen, Dee
(Mariah) Butters, Elizabeth D. (Dan) Fahrney, Cody M. (Mike)
Lewis, Chelsea Butters (Cole) and Kaselyn Butters; greatgrandchildren, Cullen W. Fahrney, Everett W. Fahrney, Garrett Zollinger, Kayla Zollinger and June Butters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Butters and daughter-in-law, Kathy Butters.
Private services will be held.
