Charles E. "Ed" Gregory Sr.
October 3, 1937 - August 15, 2015
Charles E. “Ed” Gregory passed away quietly at home in Bagdad, AZ on August, 15, 20015. He was born on October 3, 1937 in Ouray, CO. Ed was the second of three sons born to Marvin A. and Ruth E. Gregory.
In 1956, Ed joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a Signal Man for incoming aircraft as well as a maintenance man for
the sea planes.
While stationed at Sangley Point Naval Station, He met and
married Anita M. (Annie) Valde on July 14, 1957.
Ed was preceded in death by both of his parents and his loving
wife of 52 years and his sister-in-law, Rosanna Gregory (wife of Elwood).
He is survived by brothers Horace “Noel” Gregory (wife Jo) of
Colorado Springs and Robert “Elwood” Gregory of Ouray, CO.
His children, Arthur F. Gregory (wife Ronda) of Bagdad AZ.,
Victor A. Gregory of Grand Junction, CO., Anita Li Clark (husband Harold) of Colorado Springs, CO., Charles "Chuck" E. Gregory Jr. (wife Cindy) of Grand Junction, CO. 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
and a host of other family members and friends.
Servics will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the First
Southern Baptist Church, 400 4th Ave. in Ouray, CO from
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Recption to follow.
