Ernest “Cap” Weber, 90, Palisade, died Sept. 11, 2015, at Larchwood
Inns.
Services are planned in the spring.
Mr. Weber was a rancher.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy English of Delta and Carol
Brown of Grand Junction; one sister, Gladys Godwin of Grand
Junction; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Ernest "Cap" Weber
June 30, 1925 - September 11, 2015
Ernest "Cap" Weber, age 90,
of Palisade, Colorado, went
peacefully to be with the Lord
on September 11, 2015.
Ernest went into the Army
out of high school and served
in World War II as a Sergeant
Medic in Company "A",
320th Medical Battalion. After
the Army, he became a
rancher in De Beque, Colorado.
In Ernest’s spare time and
after retirement you could find
him near water, fishing with
his family. You will be missed,
we love you Dad.
Ernest is survived by his
daughters, Kathy (Bill) English,
of Delta, Colorado and
Carol Brown, of Grand Junction,
Colorado; granddaughter,
Lynn (Mike) Fellet; grandsons,
Jason (Amy) Brown and
Eric (Denise) Brown. There
are five great-grandchildren, twins, Landon and Payton Fellet,
and Ethan, Justin and Dakotah Brown; three nieces and one
nephew. Ernest was predeceased by his first wife of 23 years,
Gwendolyn Weber in July of 1973 and his second wife of 38
years, Betty Jo Weber in January of 2012. He was also
predeceased by his son-in-law, John Brown, and sisters, Ebe
Lubin and Gladys Godwin.
A service of remembrance will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday,
April 19, 2016, at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens.
