Paonia, Colorado resident, Cleo James passed away at his home on October 10, 2015 at the age of 91.
No formal services will be held at this time.
Cleo was born in Iowa on March 28, 1924. He married Frances Hoskin in 1950, she preceded him in death.
Cleo was an avid attender of auctions, and was always dressed to the tee in his Panhandle Slim western shirts everywhere he went. He was a very generous and loving Grandpa to his grandchildren and left a legacy of 14 great-grandchildren. He always enjoyed taking the scenic route home, partook in delicious sweets whenever he had the chance, and loved his wife and sweetie, Fran, ‘til the moment he passed.
Cleo is survived by sons, Michael (Nancy) of Whitewater and
Doug of Montrose; daughters, Jackie (Rene) Yepez of
Redlands, California, and Patricia (Shaun) Severin of Loveland, Colorado; cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to be made in
Cleo’s memory to Senior Community Care, 11485 Highway 65,
Eckert, Colorado 81418.
