William C. Frost
November 6, 1927 - October 10, 2015
William C. Frost, 88 years old, passed away peacefully at HopeWest Hospice on October 10, 2015.
He was born November 6, 1926, in Lena, Nebraska, a small area in the Sandhills. He was the son of Edward C. Frost and Nancy Ellen Haney.
Bill grew up on a ranch, enjoying the cowboy way of life and the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol Hapgood Frost,
and three children, William M. Frost (Lori), Edward B. Frost
(Marquita) and Jacqueline Jean Morgan (Marty). Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jessica Rash, Christopher Frost, Tyler Frost, Brandon Frost, and Kevin Frost; six great-grandchildren; his step-son, William Lage; step-grandson, Logan Lage and great-grandson, Andrew Lage; his brother-in-law, James E. Hapgood of California, and sister-in-law, Doris Brown of Salt Lake City, Utah.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member
of the Masonic Lodge #55 A.F. & A.M.
Bill loved to travel and he and his wife traveled extensively
throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
He was a quiet man, always deep in thought and willing to
help anyone in need.
He lived in Alaska during the building of the Alaska pipeline.
After moving to Grand Junction he was employed and retired
from Rust Geotech.
Bill is predeceased by his parents; late wife, Dorothy J.
Snyder; brother, Edward and step-daughter, Laura.
Services will be held at Brown’s Chapel, 904 N 7th Street on
Thursday, October 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery,
2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO, on Friday
October 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
Donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children at
2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA or HopeWest Hospice

William C. Frost, 88, Grand Junction, died Oct. 10, 2015, at HopeWest and Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Frost is survived by his wife, Carol B.; three sons, William Michael Frost and Edward Benton Frost, both of Wichita, Kansas, and William H. Lage of Grand Junction; one daughter, Jacqueline Jean Morgan of Fruita; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
