John Morgan Trumbo
December 9, 1928 - October 12, 2015
John Morgan Trumbo was born on December 9, 1928, to John and Leona Trumbo in Paonia, Colorado. On October 12, 2015, at the age of 86, he passed away at HopeWest Hospice.
John was the General Manager for Western Slope Ford for many years and then went to work for Reed Miller, Inc. until retirement. His philosophy, "It is un-American not to
have a car payment". In his early years, he dabbled in uranium
exploration in Colorado and Arizona, always hoping for that big
discovery.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, and two sisters,
Helen Schmidt and Thelma Drobnick.
He is survived by his wife, Lura "Tissie" Trumbo of Grand
Junction, CO. His five children also survive their father, sons,
Daryl (Vickie) Trumbo of Broomfield, CO; Brian (Dawn)
Trumbo of Mission Viejo, CA; Kevin Trumbo of Grand
Junction, CO; daughters, Jana (Lamar) Forsgren of Whitewater, CO, and Tressa Trumbo of Williston, ND. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren on their way.

John Morgan Trumbo, 86, Grand Junction, died Oct. 12, 2015, at HopeWest and Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Trumbo was an automobile salesman.
He is survived by his wife Lura; three sons, Daryl of Broomfield, Brian of Mission Viejo, California, and Kevin of Grand Junction; two daughters, Jana Forsgren of Whitewater and Tressa Trumbo of Williston, North Dakota; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
