Bill Miller was born in
Philadelphia, PA and died
from complications of chronic
lymphocytic leukemia in
Grand Junction.
He is survived by his wife of
30 years, Sharon Ridgeway;
sons, Max (Randi
Klugiewicz) and Ben Miller-
Ridgeway, both of Grand Junction; brother Robert of Bangor,
Maine, and sister, Pat McNichols (Joe Doody) of Churchville,
PA. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Rose
(Sukeena) and William Jeremiah Miller and his beloved Rat
Terrier, Arlee.
Bill was a U.S. Army intelligence analyst in Augsburg,
Germany. He was the editor of the Ansbach Germany Military
Community Newspaper, The Bridge. Bill was a Criminal Justice
Officer for Mesa County and most recently, he volunteered as a
tutor at Riverside Educational Center.
Bill loved his family, baseball and rock and roll.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on September 19th at
Brown’s Funeral Service, 904 N. 7th Street, Grand Junction at
4:00 p.m. Casual dress for the celebration and the family invites
sharing of memories at the service.
