Adelaide Arlene Collier, 72, Clifton, died Sept. 14, 2015, at
HopeWest and Hospice Care Center. Services are pending with the
Seventh Day Adventist Church in Palisade.
Ms. Collier was a nurse.
She is survived by a son, David of Palisade; three daughters, Louise
Stanworth of Grand Junction, and Faynell Collier and Kathy
Collier, both of Clifton; her mother, Glendia Elliott of Herriman,
Utah; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Adelaide Arlene Collier was
born in Bend, OR to Edward
and Glendia Williams,
October 18, 1943.
She lost a courageous battle
to cancer September 14, 2015,
she was surrounded by her
family. She lived in Clifton
and was a nurse. Arlene
previously lived in Cedaredge. She was a member of the
Palisade Seventh- Day Adventist Church.
She loved road trips, plants, rock hunting, mountains, and
especially animals.
Arlene is survived by her mother, Glendia Elliot of Herriman,
UT; son, David Collier of Palisade; daughters, Louise (Tim)
Stanworth of Grand Junction; Faynell Collier of Clifton, and
Kathy Collier, also of Clifton; seven grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday September 20,
2015 at the Palisade Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 162 E. 4th
St., Palisade.
Flowers to be delivered Saturday, September 19, 2015 to the
church between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.
