Services for George W. FENNO, 58, were Monday morning, Jan. 25,in the Moynahan and O'Malia Mortuary in Leadville. Burial was in Glenwood, beside his brother, Harris, who preceded him in death, and services were conducted by veterans.
In place of floral offerings, friends were asked to give to the March of Dimes.
Pall bearers were six nephews: Harry, Robert, Russell, Sam and Joseph CARTER and Louis C. FENNO.
Mr. FENNO was born August 1, 1895 in Leadville and attended school in that city. He was the youngest in a family of eight children born to Mr. and Mrs. L. C. FENNO. In 1910 he came to Edwards in Eagle County, with two of his brothers and his widowed mother, who bought a farm on Squaw Creek. He helped his mother farm and later homesteaded ground for himself. With the exception of 27 months when he served in the Army during World War I, he lived continuously on Squaw Creek until eight years ago, when he bought a home in Leadville, where he lived until his death.
Mr. FENNO is survived by one brother, Louis of Edwards; and two sisters, Nell FEAR of Longton, Kansas, and Cora CARTER of Edwards, and many nieces and nephews.
