HARRIS FENNO DIES.
Harris FENNO died in Glenwood SpringsFriday afternoon, April 24,1936, of a sudden heart attack from which he never regained consciousness.
Mr. FENNO had been under Doctor HOPKINS care for nearly two month sand was apparently well on the road to recovery when seized with the fatal attack.
Harris FENNO was born in Davenport, Iowa, August 3,1877. His parents came to Leadville with their family in 1883.There the deceased grew to manhood and did carpentry,mining, and sawmill work until 1910, when he moved to Edwards,Colo., to help his mother, the late Mrs. Emma GRAHAM,take care of her ranch on Squaw creek. For the next five years he lived part of the time on Squaw creek and the other at Leadville. In 1915 he homesteaded on Squaw creek where he has since lived.
Mr. FENNO leaves to mourn his passing, three brothers and three sisters.They are: Louis and George of Edwards; Charles of Glenwood Springs; Mrs. Caro CARTER of Edwards; Mrs. Nell FEAR of Howard, Kan.; and Mrs. Elizabeth BUSH of Phoenix, Ariz.There are numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Burdge mortuary in Glenwood Sunday afternoon. Rev. Mr. KETCHUM conducted the services and Mrs. IKLER sang three solos.Pall bearers were James BRETT, Charles K. THOMAS, John L. THOMAS, Andrew MURDOCK, Joe BERO, and Mr. TUCKER. Interment was in the Rosebud cemetery at Glenwood Springs.
