MRS. KOONCE PASSED AWAY IN DENVER.
Mrs. A. B. KOONCE, long time Eagle resident, died in Denver Monday. She had been ill for some time.
She was of a prominent early day Eagle family, wife of the late Art KOONCE, who figured prominently in the development of this area and Western Colorado.
Mrs. KOONCE made her home with her son, Harold in Eagle and her daughter Marguerite SPANO in Arvada since her husband's death.
Rosary for Mrs. KOONCE was Tuesday evening at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eagle and the funeral is Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22 at 2:00 pm in St. Mary's.

Requiem Mass for Mrs. Laura KOONCE, 85, was held at St.Mary's Catholic Church in Eagle Nov. 22, 1967. Mrs. KOONCE died in Denver two days previous.
She was a native of Central City, Colo. and a graduate of Craig (Colo.) High School and attended the Colorado Normal School (now Colorado State College) at Greeley.
While visiting in Eagle with her brother, George T. HAUBRICH then owner of The Eagle Valley Enterprise, Miss HAUBRICH met Arthur B. KOONCE. They were married Dec. 24, 1914. Mr. and Mrs. KOONCE were both active in civic and community affairs. He died in June 1962.
Survivors include a son, Harold W. of Eagle;a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite SPANO of Arvada; her brother, George of Quincy, Ill., and several grandchildren.
Interment was in the Eagle Cemetery.
