Glenda Bass completed her earthly journey Saturday, September
26, 2015 at HopeWest, the result of pancreatic cancer.
Glenda was born to Dean and Beulah Reed at Akron, CO, the
sixth child and her twin, Glen, was number seven. She moved to
Hotchkiss with her family when she was four years old. Glenda
attended Hotchkiss schools. She celebrated her 50th year reunion
this summer.
Glenda married James Sheldon and two children were born to
that marriage, Dolores Ellen, and Jayson Eric.
Glenda is survived by her children, Dolores (Less) Morris, and
Jayson Sheldon; grandchildren, Ernest and Sarah Morris; three
brothers, Clarence (Anita) Reed of Craig, CO; Keith (Debbie)
Reed of Dalton, MA; Glen (JoAnn) Reed of Mozulla, MT; three
sisters, Doris (Lee) Miller of Loma, CO; Mary (Ben) McFarlin
of Grand Junction, and Lola (Leroy) Wold, of Spokane, WA.
Glenda was employed in the nursing care field, working to
make elders happy and comfortable.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James
Sheldon and Don Bass; three half brothers, and one half sister.
A celebration of Glenda’s life will be Friday at Taylor Mortuary
at 2:00 p.m. in Hotchkiss, with an informal get together at
the city park.

Glenda Evelyn Bass, 68, Hotchkiss, died Sept. 26, 2015, in
Grand Junction.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral
Service Chapel in Delta.
She is survived by a son Jayson Shelden of Hotchkiss; a daughter
Dolores Morris of Hotchkiss; three brothers, Glen Reed of Montana,
Clarence Reed of Craig, and Keith Reed of Massachusetts;
three sisters, Doris Miller of Loma, Mary McFarland of Grand
Junction, and Lola Wold; and two grandchildren.
