Douglas Ray Kuhlmann died Oct. 15, 2000, at his home in Longmont. He was 35.
Doug was born Aug. 16, 1965, in Boulder to Ray and Cathy Kuhlmann. He was a 1986 graduate of Skyline High School and was employed by King Soopers for the past 11 years. He was a member of Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Longmont. He enjoyed roller skating, collecting Franklin Mint scale model cars and attending stock car races at Colorado National Speedway in Erie.
He is survived by his parents; a grandmother, Thelma Horton of Longmont; a grandfather, Carl Horton of Denver; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held Oct. 19 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Will Reller officiating. He was cremated. Memorial contributions in Doug's name may be made to the Longmont Humane Society in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont 80501-5440.
