MRS. NELS NESTHOUSE BURIED IN EAGLE.
Inger NESTHOUSE was born Jan. 18, 1882 in Voss, Norway. She was one of eight children: two boys and six girls, born to Ole and Brita BRATHOLE. She was married to Nels Nesthouse on November 9, 1907 in Norway.
Mr. NESTHOUSE came to America in 1911 and was joined at Gilman, Colo., by his wife and their oldest son, Louis in 1916.
Mr. and Mrs. NESTHOUSE have lived in Eagle County since that time, moving from Gilman to Minturn in 1939.
Mrs. NESTHOUSE, a kind and gentle woman, a beloved and devoted wife and mother, died of cancer Sept. 12 in Minturn.
She is survived by her husband, Nels of Minturn; two sons, Louis of Eagle and Ed of Amarillo, Tex., two grandchildren, Albert and Anita of Amarillo; one brother and two sisters also survive her in Norway and one niece and two nephews in Minnesota and Iowa.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle by the Reverend G. K. OLDSEN of the Glenwood Lutheran church. The pallbearers were Clyde SPURR, Oscar NELSON, Emil ERLANDSON, Ralph MEYER, Harry LEWIS and Wm. H. LUBY. The Bowman Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
