Theresa R. Richards was
born on December 16th, 1953,
in Craig, Colorado, the
daughter of Ruth and Stephen
Balleck. She died November
14th, 2015, with her husband
by her side.
Theresa graduated Moffat
County High School in 1971.
She married Floyd Gutierrez,
in 1973. She had daughter,
Toni, in 1973, and son, Ernie, in 1977. In October of 1993, she
married Art Richards.
Theresa enjoyed being a florist, for many years. She then
worked at Snyder Grand Valley Memorials, bringing comfort to
those who had lost loved ones of their own. She loved riding her
horses, gardening, and spending time with loved ones. She made
everyone around her feel welcome.
She is survived by husband, Art Richards of Grand Junction;
sisters, Patty Balleck of Craig and Susie LeBlanc of Delta;
brother, Carl Balleck of Craig; daughter, Toni Ochoa of Clifton;
son, Ernie Gutierrez of Craig; grandsons, Daniel Gutierrez,
Brodey Gutierrez, and Brant Gutierrez; a niece, and many
nephews.
