Albert Donavan Seibert, age
90, of 677 30 Road, Grand
Junction, passed away on
November 15, 2015, in his
home.
Funeral services will be held
at Memorial Gardens
Mausoleum, Saturday,
November 21st, 12:00 p.m.,
with Paul Been of HopeWest Hospice officiating. Burial will be
at Memorial Gardens.
Albert was born in Carrington, North Dakota to Rudolph
Seibert and Joye Workman Seibert, May 29th, 1925. A veteran
of World War II from October 15th, 1943 to March 11, 1946,
Albert worked as a surgical technician picking up wounded and
returning them for care in Okinawa Japan. He was awarded the
Good Conduct medal, American Theater, Asiatic-Pacific, and
World War II Victory Ribbons. Albert worked as a Nursing
Assistant at the Grand Junction V. A. Hospital for 32 years, then
was employed at J.C. Penney and Coast to Coast before retiring
fully.
Albert married Juanita McLeod on May 29th, 1952. Married
for 52 years, Juanita preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, William Seibert (Cindy),
Lawrenceville, Georgia; Marie Fox, Honolulu, Hawaii, and
James Seibert (Nancy) Grand Junction, CO; grandchildren,
Michelle and Mallorie Seibert, Lawrenceville, Georgia; Felicia
Caddy (Jarrett), Craig, CO; Ashley Keeling (James), and Trista
Wyckoff (Ryan), Grand Junction, CO; great-grandchildren,
Trinity and Phoenix Hughes, Lawrenceville, Georgia; Daniel
and Madisyn Caddy, Craig, CO, and Brook and Wyatt Keeling,
Grand Junction, CO.
Albert’s family wishes to express sincere thanks to Ellen, and
Mishcha, with V.A. Home Based Primary Care, Diane and
Janet, with Comfort Keepers, for the care provided him over the
last years.

Albert Seibert, 90, Grand Junction, died Nov. 15, 2015, at his
home.
Services will be at noon today at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in
Grand Junction.
Mr. Seibert was a nursing assistant.
He is survived by two sons, William of Lawrenceville, Georgia,
and James of Grand Junction; one daughter, Marie Fox of Grand
Junction; one brother, Robert of Ignacio; five grandchildren; and
six great-grandchildren.
