Helen Mondragon

Helen Mondragon, 75, passed from this earth on November 19,
2015, with her husband, Tony, by her side.
Helen was born in Las Animas, CO to Herman and Mildred
Medina on December 8, 1939, the oldest of seven children. She
was wed to Tony Mondragon on September 18, 1954, and has remained
his constant companion for the last 61 years.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; mother, Mildred; children,
Gloria, Mike (Antionette), and Lorraine; grandchildren,
Nino, Shannon, Mo, and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Dominic,
Nathan, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lily, and Evelyn; great-greatgrandchild,
Liam, and siblings, Bill (Henrietta), Irene (Jerry),
Georgia, Larry, and Liz.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Sr., brother,
Diddo, and grandson, Mario.
Services will be at Grand Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday,
November 25, 2015 at 9:45 a.m., followed by interment at Orchard
Mesa Municipal Cemetery.
