BENNY McBREEN DIED IN SALIDA HOSPITAL.
Requiem High Mass was celebrated Friday morning for Bernard H. McBREEN of Salida, and formerly of Minturn.
Mr. McBREEN had been a resident of Salida for the past 15 years, and at the time of his death had been employed by the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad for 48 years and held the position of locomotive engineer.
He was born in Glenwood Springs June 14, 1903 and died Dec. 27,1967.
Pall bearers were James STITT of Denver; Jack JOHNSON of Eagle; James (Mike) McBREEN, Glenwood; George COLLEY, Dan RODRIGUEZ, Vincent ROCHE and Robert BRAZIL all of Salida.
He was one of eight children, and s survived by two sisters: Mrs. Katherine MACK of Glenwood and Mrs. Mary STITT of Denver; and two brothers, William of Salida and Thomas of Eagle.
His wife, Mrs. Betty Mulvany McBREEN preceded him in death.

Bernard McBreen was originally buried in Fairview Cemetery, Salida, Colorado [Sec H, Blk 9, Lot 1, G5] but was disinterred and moved to Rosebud Cemetery, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, April 30, 1968.
