"CHUB" WHITE KILLED.
Walter ("Chub") WHITE was shot and killed by a woman at Hahn's Peak, Routt county, last week. "Chub" is a son of C. M. WHITE, a former resident of Eagle county, and was deputy county clerk of Routt county. The particulars of the affair will not be known until after the preliminary hearing of the young lady who committed the crime. An ante mortem statement for the deceased was to the effect that the deed was committed because "Chub" was going to Craig, his home, to vote and would see his fiance there. The verdict of the coroner was that the killing was felonious.
