Graveside services for Edith MIZE, 97, formerly of Salida,were held 4 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Riverview Cemetery, Minturn.
She died Thursday evening in Silver City, N.M.
She is survived by her son, Howard, and his wife, Edna, Hurley, New Mexico; her daughter-in-law, Pearl MIZE, Salida; five grand-children; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Bryan DENTON, LaVeta, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1974; sons Harry in 1980 and Buster in 1967; two grand-sons and her daughter-in-law.
She and her husband were residents of Red Cliff and Aspen before moving to Salida in 1955. She has been a resident of Hurley the past five years.
Arrangements were with Stewart-Clow Funeral Home.
