Harry Virgil MIZE, 72, of 240 Crestone Ave., Salida, died Dec. 26 in the Salida Hospital.
MIZE was born Dec. 16, 1908 [family verified Dec. 6, 1908 as birthdate] in Bozeman, Mont.
A maintenance foreman for New Jersey Zinc Co. in Gilman, Colo., he retired to Salida in 1973.
Married to Pearl MIZE Sept. 2, 1934 in Denver, they had one son, Richard MIZE of Anchorage, Ala. Other survivors include a brother, Howard MIZE of Hurley, N.M.; his mother, Edith MIZE of Salida; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow Dec. 30 in the Chapel of the Vision at Stewart Mortuary with Rev. A. R. EDLUND officiating.
Cremation will follow services.
