JOSEPH COLUMBUS MIZE.
Funeral services were held in Eagle Nov. 10 for Joseph C. MIZE who died in the Glenwood Hospital on Nov. 7. The Reverend H. C. MOORHEAD delivered the sermon and Miller Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. MIZE was born in Tennessee August 23, 1883. His occupation was oilfield worker untilhis retirement several years ago.
He was a member of the Church of Christ, Columbus, Ohio, and of the Masonic and IOOF lodges.
On January 1, 1946 he was married to Stella WATSON and in 1952 they came to Eagle where they bought a home. This has been their home since.
Mr. MIZE is survived by his wife; two daughters: Mrs. Evelyn TURNER of Newark, Ohio and Mrs. Ethel MOORE of Columbus, Ohio. A third daughter preceded him in death.
Mr. MIZE is also survived by a stepson, Ed WATSON of Eagle; one brother, P. T. MIZE of Shreveport, La.; a half sister, Mrs. Harvey QUAGLEY of Winter Garden, Fla.; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

JOEPH MIZE DIED NOV. 7.
Joseph C. MIZE, 78, of Eagle, died in the Glenwood hospital November 7, following an illness of several weeks.
Mr. MIZE's funeral service will be conducted by Reverend H. C. MOORHEAD in the Eagle Methodist Church Friday afternoon, Nov. 10 at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Sunset View Cemetery.
The Miller Mortuary of Eagle is in charge of arrangements.
