Timothy Alvin Reed was born to Bob and Marcella (Wilkins) Reed on June 5, 1951 in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. He grew up and attended his school years at Prairie High School and Prairie Bible Institute. During his high school years he rode in the Calgary Stampede Chuck Wagon races and competed in other rodeos across Alberta. On September 11, 1971 he married Kathy Smith of Wheaton, Illinois. Tim went to carpentry school in Atlanta, GA and became a journeyman carpenter. From 1972 to 1984 he and the family lived in Monticello, GA where, in addition to his carpentry, Tim also volunteered as a Sheriff’s Deputy. After a serious auto accident injury he moved from installing to designing kitchens. He worked in Atlanta as a custom kitchen designer for St. Charles Kitchens and then the family moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. From 198491 he was coowner and custom designer of Signature Kitchen’s in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Throughout his life Tim was a lover of the outdoors. This included packing with horses, hunting, fishing, hiking, and more with his family and friends. Because of this in 1991 he moved his family to Steamboat Springs to continue his career in kitchen designs. He managed and owned several kitchen and design shops in the area, most currently Golden Aspen Design. On June 3, 2016 Tim and his beloved dog Jasper were traveling to Utah to pick up an order of cabinets. While trying to rescue his dog, Tim and Jasper were struck by a passing car. Both were killed instantly. Tim is survived by both of his parents in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada. His three children, Jenni (married to Adrian) Bright, Sandi (married to Filippo) Falcone, and Charles Reed. He was “Papa” to six grandchildren: Natalie, Matthew, and Daniel Bright; Miriam, Benjamin, and Ryan Falcone. He also has four surviving siblings: Gordon Reed, Ruth Sept, Tamara Roe, Sherri GilchristReed, and all their families. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,?To those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
