Mildred Marie Fisher

Mildred Marie Fisher "Millie" went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2016.
She was born August 18, 1931, in Alma, Nebraska to Friend Valentine and Augusta Hadley. Millie was one of 13 children. She married Forrest Fisher on June 26, 1950. They had six children, Kathy Forqueran, Carol Barnhill (Joel), Richard Fisher, Greg Fisher (Debi), Kaylynn Tompkins (Brad), and Jane Trimble (Steve).
Millie loved life! She was a farmer, truck driver co-pilot, chief
cow feeder, master irrigator, incredible cook, guitar and
harmonic player, loving wife, precious grandmother, and dearly loved mother. She lived life with a passion, loved music, and most of all loved her family. She will be forever missed.
She is survived by her children, Kathy, Carol, Greg, Kaylynn,
and Jane; eight brothers and sisters; 11 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was precededin death by Forrest, her husband of 53 years; son, Richard; grandson, Jesse, and a great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held March 1st at 10:00 a.m. at
Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
