Eagle Valley Enterprise - May 28, 1968

Funeral services were held at Farnum's Chapel in Glenwood Springs May 17 for Orville B. CAVE, who died suddenly at his home in Eagle on May 14. Services were conducted by Rev. Father Thomas STONE. Burial was in Sunset View Cemetery at Eagle.
Mr. CAVE was born near Redfield, Iowa on January 18, 1897 and came to Grand Junction, Colo. with his parents at the age of 10.
He worked for the Empire Zinc Co. at Gilman for a number of years and also followed construction work. He married Buelah BUCHHOLZ in Glenwood Springs August 11, 1942.
He is survived by his wife.

TWO EAGLE MEN DIE.
Two Eagle men died this week--one suddenly and one following a long illness.
Orville CAVE died at his home suddenly Tuesday night. Mr. CAVE, although not in the best of health, had not been ill prior to his death.
His funeral will be held at the Farnum Chapel in Glenwood Friday afternoon at 2:00. Burial will be in the Eagle cemetery.
Mr. CAVE is survived by his wife, the former Buelah BUCHHOLZ.
Ralph KAYSER died Wednesday in the Glenwood hospital. He had been ill for a long time.
A rosary will be said for Mr. KAYSER in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Eagle at 7:30 Friday night. The funeral Mass will be in St. Mary's Saturday morning at 11:00, and burial in Eagle.
Mr. KAYSER is survived by several brothers and sisters, one of whom is Helen FAHEY, who had moved to Eagle to care for her brother.
