Charlee Sue Fox, 72, of Clifton, died Feb. 4, 2016, at HopeWest and Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. Visitation will be from 5–8 p.m. Thursday at Palisade Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Clifton Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at the New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita. Mrs. Fox was a floral designer and wedding consultant. Survivors include her husband, Carl; three sons, Dwayne and Joey, both of Grand Junction, and Byron of Palisade; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Charlee "Sue" Fox
January 26, 1944 - February 4, 2016
Charlee "Sue" Fox went to be with Jesus on February 4, 2016. She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on January 26, 1944. She was the middle child of Charles and Eva Bottoms. She made a living for many years as a floral designer where she made many friends. She also served as a wedding consultant, planning many weddings for her friends and family. Sue was a passionate decorator which could be witnessed upon entering her home. She had a great passion for ladies of the church, served as a ladies' ministry leader, and held many teas. She was a member of the Clifton Assembly of God Church. Her passion for her faith is evident in the many lives she impacted. She enjoyed going to garage sales, shopping, and giving gifts to others. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bernie Bottoms of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her sister, Velma Bottoms, of Grand Junction, Colorado. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl Frederick Fox, and her three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne (Rene) Fox of Grand Junction, Colorado; Byron (Mecshelle) Fox of Palisade, Colorado, and Joey (Shauna) Fox of Grand Junction, Colorado. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her husband walked with her through a very lengthy illness and remained her constant strength and companion through the end of her journey. A viewing will be held this Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5- 8:00., at the Palisade Funeral Home Chapel. Her funeral at the Clifton Assembly6 of God Church. Interment will follow at the New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, Colorado.
