John Alexander Silva
March 21, 1988 - August 15, 2015
Alex Silva passed away in his home in Fruita, CO on August 15, 2015.
He was born on March 21, 1988, to Amy Joe Aragon, in Grand Junction.
As a child Alex was always wearing hand made costumes, "Ghost Busters", "Army Guy", whoever he felt like being.
Alex was a life long student. He wanted to be a College
Professor, and studied at CMU. He was an amazing artist,
painting, working with metals, and so much more. Alex earned
his Bachelor of Arts Degree just this year, unfortunetly it was
after his passing.
He enjoyed traveling to New Mexico to see the local art with
his girlfriend, Laura Shaffer.
Alex doted on his parents, Bob Silva, Sr. in Fruita, and Effie
Silva, who predeased him in 2011.
He is survived by his father, Bob; mother, Amy Joe Aragon;
brother, Luis Gomez of DeBeque; Bob Silva, Jr. of Eagle, CO;
sisters, Adrianna Cruz and Brittany Cruz of Parachute, CO; Eva (Ernie) Silva-Jones of ND, and numerous nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on March 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
