FRANK HILL.
Funeral services were conducted by American Legion Post 150 of Gypsum Aug. 27 for Francis Hill, Dotsero rancher.
Mr. HILL was born in Hunanville, Mo. Sept. 20, 1893, the son of John and Laura HILL.
In the fall of 1909 the Hill Family moved to Eagle County and lived for many years in the Red Cliff vicinity.
Mr. HILL joined the armed services May 25, 1918 and served overseas during World War I. He was a member of American Legion Post 150 at Gypsum; World War I Veterans Organization; DAV, Chapter 9, Grand Junction.
He had been in poor health for a number of years, and died in the Veterans Hospital in Grand Junction Aug. 22
He is survived by a sister, Cornelia Hill COOK of Dotsero; a brother, William of Durango and a niece Frances BOBAY of Denver.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Bowman Mortuary of Eagle and interment was in the Red Cliff cemetery.
