Donald Girodo passed away on March 6, 2016, in GrandJunction, Colorado. He was 78 years old.
He was born on September 21, 1937, to Antonio and Myrtle (McDonald) Girodo. Donald was raised in Silverton, Colorado, where he graduated high school.
Donald married his wife, Janice Lewis, on October 1, 1983.
He was a member of Moose Lodge #270 since 1971, and he
enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting, bowling, and traveling.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Michael Girodo,
Boulder, CO; Anthony and Donnie Girodo, Grand Junction, CO,
and Calvin Whitman, Silt, CO; daughters, Peggy Rippy, Silt,
CO, and Angela Martinez, Parachute, CO; sister, Diana
Robinson, Amado, AZ; 11 grandchildren, and nine greatgrandchildren.
Memorial services for Donald will be held at Martin Mortuary,
10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, with a Graveside service to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

at HopeWest and Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. March 19 at Martin Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Mr. Girodo was an area superintendent at Elam Construction.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; four sons, Michael Girodo of
Boulder, Anthony Girodo and Donnie Girodo, both of Grand Junction, and Calvin Whitman of Silt; two daughters, Peggy Rippy of Silt, and Angela Martinez of Parachute; one sister, Diana Robinson of Amado, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
