FRANK RUSSELL BURIED HERE TUESDAY.
Frank RUSSELL, 74, was buried in Eagle Tuesday afternoon, following his death in a Grand Junction hospital last Friday.
Mr. RUSSELL was born in Missouri Jan. 29, 1876 and moved with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill RUSSELL to Wolcott when he was a small boy. His father homesteaded the ranch now owned by Pete JOUFLAS there.
The family moved from this county to the Yampa valley in Routt county, where they lived for a number of years. They were well known in the Burns-McCoy vicinity where Mr. RUSSELL returned to make his home about fourteen years ago.
He was never married, but leaves to mourn his passing a sister, Dora BOORE, and a brother, Lee RUSSELL, both in Sunland, Calif.; several nieces and nephews: Mildred COCKS of Wilbur, Ore., Laura ESTES of San Diego, Thelma KENNEDY of Saugus, Calif.; Jack and Wayne RUSSELL of Redlands, Calif., and Earl BOORE and Art RUSSELL of Eagle and Bert RUSSELL of Burns.
Funeral services were held here in the Methodist Church March 21, by Rev. DAHL of Glenwood Springs with burial directed by Bowman's Funeral Chapel in the Eagle cemetery. Mesdames Lola CHAMBERS and Ida DICKERSON and Mr. Wm. STANLEY accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Paul SHIELDS, sang appropriate music. Pall bearers were Bill RANDALL, Clyde SCHLEGEL, Frank GATES, Chas.NEIL, Allen CLARK, and G. D. ROBERTS.
