Emily M. Lenard, 79, Grand Junction, died March 14, 2016, at
Mesa Manor.
Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Palisade Municipal Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Dale; one son, Doug
Lenard of Grand Junction; three daughters, Rebecca Lee Lenard- Kuhn and Debbie Pease, both of Grand Junction, and Sandy Wu of Petaluma, California; two brothers, Harvey “Buckshot” Lee Harrison of Delta and George Vesta Edwards of Grand Junction; three sisters, Alice Mea Platt of Corona, California, Ida Faye Bancroft of Grand Junction and Genevieve Hunter of Salinas, California; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Emily Marie Lenard will be at 2:00 p.
m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Palisade Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Bob Murr officiating.
Mrs. Lenard died Monday, March 14, 2016, at Mesa Manor
Center in Grand Junction. She was 79 years old.
A resident of Grand Junction since 1967, Mrs. Lenard worked
as a stay-at-home wife until the death of her husband, Clifford
Dale Lenard in 1989, after which she worked assembling circuit boards for Scud missiles during Operation Desert Storm.
She was born July 17, 1936, to George Vesta Edwards and
Alice O’Neill Edwards in Montrose, Colorado. She spent her
childhood and attended school in Montrose. She married Clifford Dale Lenard on December 3, 1954, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
They lived in Green River, Utah from 1963-1967 before moving to Grand Junction.
Mrs. Lenard enjoyed flower gardening, country music, and family gatherings, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Clifford Douglas Lenard (Donna), and
daughters, Debbie Pease (Willard), and Sandy Lenard-Wu
(Jack), as well as a brother, Harvey “Buckshot” Harrison.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Becky Kuhn, and five
siblings. Her husband, Clifford Dale Lenard, passed away on November 21, 1989.
The grandchildren she loved so much are Jesse, Justin, Terran, Wade, DeeAnn, Emily, Willard, Victoria, Westin, and four greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society.
