ANNA A. MULNIX
Funeral services for Gypsum resident Anna A. MULNIX were held June 16 at the Gypsum Community United Methodist Church. The Rev. Steve GOODIER officiated.
Burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum.
Mrs. MULNIX died June 12 at Aspen Valley Hospital following a long illness. She was 78.
She was born Jan. 28, 1908, in Leadville to James and Annie McCauley HOLDEN. She was raised in Gilman and Avon. She went to school in Gypsum.
On Oct. 27 [sic 22], 1927, she married Standley [sic Stanley] MULNIX in Leadville. She later was a case worker for the Eagle County welfare department. Mrs. MULNIX lived in the Eagle County area all her life.
She was a member of the Gypsum Community United Methodist Church and was past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a son, William MULNIX of Juneau, Alaska; a daughter, Peggy NEFF of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sisters, Agnes RANDALL of Eagle and Elizabeth FARRELL of Gypsum; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
