Lois Dorene (Roller) Nickerson
December 9, 1934 - March 14, 2016
Lois Nickerson was born December 9, 1934, to Carl Wilson and Noral Dialtha (Catron) Roller in Seligman, Missouri. She spent her childhood in Phoenix, Arizona, and Cedaredge. She also lived in Denver, and Grand Junction.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her savior, Jesus Christ,
and her family.
Lois married Dale Nickerson on January 9, 1960.
Lois enjoyed her time as a Librarian at Columbus Elementary.
She also managed rental property, and was an accomplished
artist, wininning Best of Show and many ribbons with her
paintings.
Lois is survived by her husband, Dale Nickerson; son, Kurt
Nickerson; granddaughter, Jacklyn Nickerson, and greatgranddaughter, Rhayanna Jaramillo; brothers, Carl Dale (Jeanie) Roller, and Terry (Brenda) Roller, and sister, Marilyn Foraker.
Services will be held at Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
at Brown’s Funeral Home, 904 North 7th Street, Grand Junction.
