Thelma E. Pearce, 95, Grand Junction, died March 18, 2016, in Eckert.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary. Visitation will also be at 9 a.m. Saturday with services to follow at 10 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Shelia D’Elia of Cedaredge,
Glenda Oline of Pueblo, and Paula Alley of Farmington, New
Mexico; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great great-grandchildren.

Thelma E. Pearce was born in Rutledge, TN, on November 27, 1920, to George Washington and Matilda Mae Cope. She spent her childhood in San Angelo, TX.
Thelma married her first husband, Kenneth Byron Graham, in 1942 in San Angelo, TX. Kenneth passed away in 1948 in Clifton, CO. She married Albert Wilson Pearce in 1950, in San Antonio, TX. Albert passed away in 1978, in Grand Junction, CO. Thelma belonged to Rebeccas and the Friendly Club. She spent time on Grand Mesa with grandchildren, travel, and bingo.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Shelia D’Elia of
Cedaredge, CO; Glenda Oline of Pueblo, CO, and Paula Alley,
Aztec, NM.; She has eight grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She also has a brother in law, Norman Graham, of Idaho Falls, ID. Thelma was predeceased by her son, Barney Curtis Graham; brothers, Clarence, Robert, George, Lloyd, James, Elzie and Dean Cope, and sisters, Buleah, and Ruby.
A Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2016, 7 - 9:00 p.m.
at Martin Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO. A Celebration of Life
will be held at 9:00 a.m. with a visitation and the service will be
at 10:00 a.m., also at Martin Mortuary, with burial at Orchard
Mesa Cemetery.
