Perry of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Betty Goad of Grand
Junction; and three grandchildren.

Jerry Lewy Cobb passed
away April 11, 2016, at St.
Mary’s Hospital in Grand
Junction, CO due to
complications from a massive
heart attack suffered on
February 22, 2016.
He was born in Patterson,
MO, March 16th, 1943 and
lived there until the family
moved to Olathe, CO in
March of 1952. There he attended Fairview School then went on
to Olathe High School.
Jerry then took over the family dairy operation. He also farmed
and raised Quarter horses and beef cattle until 1984. He started a
new business in 1989, Ginco Propane in Austin, CO and
operated it until 1994. He then purchased a cattle permit and
started ranching full time until 1999 when he started, with one
truck by himself, JC Propane and continued to run both
companies until his passing.
Jerry was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Assoc.
from 1969 to 1984. During that time he was a competitive team
roper. Jerry traveled and rodeoed all around the rocky mountain
region. Later in life he enjoyed competing in sheepdog trials and
cattle dog trials. He always enjoyed cattle, horses, Border collie
dogs, and propane.
He was well known in the community for his generosity and
support of our local AG, 4-H, FFA, Jr Rodeos, county fairs and
sponsoring saddles at the local team roping for the Delta County
Fair for the last several years.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Cobb of Delta, CO, and
husband, Gary Hintz; daughter, Sharon Perry and husband, Ron
Perry of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Leah, Tina and
Nicholas Perry; sister; Betty Goad of Grand Junction, CO;
niece, Cinda Godsey of Grand Junction, CO; great-niece,
Tiffany Pfifer; nephew, Steve Goad of Denver, CO, and Lenny
Perkins, longtime friend and helpmate.
Jerry was a great man and will be missed by many that knew
him. His Company and his cattle will go on for years to come.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral Service and Crematory.
