LOUIS (MIKE) ROBIDOUX BURIED AT GYPSUM.
Private family services were held at the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Gypsum this week. Mr. ROBIDOUX passed away in the Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs Friday morning, November 8, following a lengthy illness.
The Sowder Funeral Home of Rifle was in charge of arrangements with cremation.
Mr. ROBIDOUX was born on March 3rd, 1899 at Wallace, Kansas, the son of Peter and Alice Barry ROBIDOUX. He was educated in the Wallace schools and grew to manhood in that community.
Mr. ROBIDOUX was united in marriage with Anna Laura HAYDEN on April 21, 1924 at Goodland, Kansas. For several years they lived in the Wallace community where they were engaged in ranching. In 1937 they moved to Colorado where they made their home at Gypsum. Mr. ROBIDOUX worked for the Gypsum School system for a short period of time, later worked as a carpenter. For several years they owned the Camp Stool Trailer Court at Gypsum.
Mr. ROBIDOUX was a member of the Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Normal Lee McDONALD and a grandson. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. ROBIDOUX; a son, Jim of Gypsum, a sister, Mrs. Jack BOWMAN of Wallace, Kansas, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
