JAMES D. ROBIDOUX.
James D. ROBIDOUX of Gypsum died from cancer Thursday, March 19, at his home. He was 73.
Mr. ROBIDOUX was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Wallace County, Kan. He came to Eagle Valley in 1937.
He served in the Army Medical Corps in World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 150 in Gypsum.
Mr. ROBIDOUX was a propane gas company delivery and installation man for 40 years. In addition he owned and operated the Robidoux Trailer Court in Gypsum for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Faye ROBIDOUX of Gypsum; son Joe ROBIDOUX and his wife Brenda of Wright, Wyo.; daughter Amy Diana ROBIDOUX of Grand Junction; mother Anna Laura ROBIDOUX of Gypsum; grandchildren Jeri Lynn Robidoux of Gillette, Wyo.; James ROBIDOUX and his wife Stephanie; great grandsons John Scott and Michael James ROBIDOUX of Rapid City, S.D. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Jerry D. ROBIDOUX, his father Louis "Mike" ROBIDOUX and his sister Norma Lee McDONALD.
Services were held March 23 at 10 a.m. at the Latter Day Saints Church in Gypsum. Farnum Holt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
