DEATH OF MRS. JOSEPH BRETT
Mrs. Joseph Brett died at the family home on Eagle river at the mouth of Lake creek on last Thursday afternoon. Ever since the death of her son several months ago mrs. Brett had been in ill health, part of the time in a hospital in Denver. But of late, she had been at home and had been slowly improving. On Thursday she was in the usual health experience of late, ate dinner, and died suddenly afterward.
The funeral was held at the family home on Saturday. i twas largely attended by friends from all over the county and from Leadville. Mrs. Brett was an estimable-lady and highly esteemed by all who kenw her. The bereaved husband and two young daughters have the sympathy of many friends. Interment occurred at the homestead to a plot beside the grave of the son.
