Services for Jennie Mae Cantrell, 98, of Stilwell, OK, were Nov. 28 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lee Killer officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ronnie Cantrell, Buddy Harrison, Dickie Cantrell, Bud Cantrell Johnny Bolin and Mike Bolin.
She was born March 7, 1889 in Webbers Falls, Indian Territory, to George Welch and Laura Martin Welch.She died at Memroail Hospital in Stilwell. Mrs. Cantrell was a homemaker and member of Freewill Holiness Church. She married Richard "Dick" Cantrell on Sept. 22, 1906 in Sallisaw. She was preceded in death by her husband and six sons, Charlie, Floyd, Gerald, Earl, Dick and Edward Allen.
Survivors include five sons: Ola Cantrell of Stilwell, Farris Lee Cantrell of CA, Ely Leon Cantrell Hopkinsville, KY, R.D. Cantrell of Eagle; three daughters, Geneva Morton of Fresco, CA, Genola Harrison of Denver, Inola Nolan of Littleton; one brother, Edmond Welch of Bakersfield, CA; two sisters, Edna Mulin and Adrain German of Sallisaw; 37 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
