Long-time Eagle resident and businessman George Carlow died late Tuesday afternoon. He was 76. Carlow, owner of the Eagle Liquor Store, was well-known throughout the area. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Carlow, two children, Janice Starr of Eagle and Pat Carlow of Grand Junction, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services have been tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. in Eagle.
