Mrs. Hannah Cavin Norman, 79, died in a Glenwood Hospital Saturday August 23 where she had been a patient following a fall at her Eagle home July 17.
Hannah Krell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdand Krell, was born in San Antonio, Tex June 1, 1873. A resident of Eagle county for 34 years, as Hannah Cavin she first lived in Minturn. In 1920, she was married to Al Norman, prominent Burns stockman, in Leadville, and went to Burns to make her home.
Mr. Norman preceded her in death several years ago, and for the past number of years Mrs. Norman had lived in Eagle with her son, Hobbs Cavin and her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Sharver.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 8 am at st. Stephens Catholic Church in Glenwood with Rev. C. E. Kessler officiating. Rosary was recited in the Farnum Chapel Tuesday evening and burial was in the Glenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Norman is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sharver and two sons, Hobson of Eagle and A.D. Cavin of North Hollywood Calif. and the following stepchildren: Mrs. Louise Piercen, Oak Creek; Mrs. Viola Boore, Eagle; Mrs. Ida Schlegel, McCoy; Mrs. Iva Hart, Mrs. Josephine Evans and Hugh Norman.
Several grandchildren also survive.
