Eagle Valley Enterprise - March 25, 1965

Claude C. Chrisman, a native of Kansas, died on March 13, 1965 of a heart attack while working on a ranch near BUrns, Colorado.

Mr. Christman was the son of Mr and Mrs George Chrisman, born March 17, 1911 at Lowe, Kansas. He spent his childhood in Sedan, KS receiving his education there.

He came to this area in the 1930s living first around Carbondale then to Eagle County,. He worked on various ranches in the county making Eagle his home for hte pastseveral years.

Mr. Christmas was a veteran of World War II.

FUneral services were conducted by Rev L.B. Friend in the Miller Chapel in Eagle March 18 and interment was in the Eagle Cemetery. Pallbearers were Orman Hurt, Dave Hartle, Nate Potts, Bob McIlveen, Jim Ross, and Alvin Rule.

Mr. Chrisman is survived by three brothers: Glen of Phoeniz, AZ; Roy and Hal of Springfield, OR. The latter two and their wives accompanied by Hal Chrisman's daughter, Mrs. Shirley Shay, came for the funeral.
